Why EPIC Physical Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “therapeutic exercises typically applied beforehand to allow for more freedom of movement and less discomfort while performing the exercises. This can allow for a more comfortable and effective treatment session. × CUPPING Myofascial…” source →

From the reviews

I worked with Max and the team for a few weeks after my hip replacement and based on the care and attention I received from the team I would highly recommend this practice. Max asked a lot of questions to make sure my plan was based on me and how I felt and was recovering.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Epic Therapy has been a tremendous help in my recovery. I’ve had two knee replacement surgeries, and their team has guided me every step of the way. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and very precise with their therapeutic advice, making sure every exercise is done correctly and safely.

★★★★★ — Frank, Mar 2026

I was referred to this facility by my orthopedic physician following a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a left shoulder rotator cuff injury. My experience with EPIC Physical Therapy—particularly working with Blake—has been excellent.

★★★★★ — Emily, Mar 2026

I was referred to Epic following my total knee replacement, and I’m so glad I was. Max developed a customized therapy plan based on my specific needs and goals, including ones he believed I could achieve that I hadn’t even considered myself.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
