My massage with Brian was fabulous! I have plantar fasciatis and Brian worked on me with the many tools he has available! He even did cupping to alleviate the pinching sensation I was feeling down my leg. I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with cupping on my shoulders as well.
I came to Brian with a sports injury in my upper back and assumed deep tissue would do the trick. He assessed my injury and provided a comprehensive plan that was focused more on relaxing and treating the entire area, to allow the muscle to heal.
This was one of the best experiences of my life. I told Brian my concern areas and let him take charge from there, I’m glad I did. One of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Brian takes the time to get to know his clients and customizes treatment for them. I feel excellent! Looking forward to going back for another massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
