From the reviews

I have been being treated by Debra-Jean for many months. I started with cranial sacral and moved to massage/cupping. She still does a combination of all three. Debra-Jean is warm, compassionate and talented. I always leave feeling relaxed and calm.

I have been a client of Debra's for only a few months, and, boy, do I wish I had found her years ago. She is skilled in many different techniques to align the body and prevent pain. She understands how to tune into her clients and provide what they need. Her space is welcoming and clean.

★★★★★ — Suzanne, Dec 2025

I’ve been going to Debra-Jean for 4-5 months now and I have nothing but kind things to say. Her space is clean and calming, and she is welcoming and informative each visit. I receive Cranial Sacral Therapy, along with your traditional cupping on my problem areas.

★★★★★ — Lara, Sep 2018

I have been receiving treatment from OT and a Chiropractor for shoulder and neck pain. They also recommended that I see Debra Jean for Lymphatic massage and cupping to reduce inflammation. I had a session yesterday and my pain is significantly reduced!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
