From the reviews
I needed physical therapy after pregnancy and childbirth, and when I saw that Meryl was also a mom, I thought she might be able to relate. I was right—she understood my concerns on a personal level and helped me heal with empathy, expertise, and precision.
Meryl and Jade are both fantastic physical therapists. My family and I have seen them for numerous ailments over the years. I’m currently in treatment to rehab after surgery on my bicep and shoulder. Even though it’s a love/hate relationship, I look forward to the progress I make from each appointment.
Best PTs I’ve ever had. Not only are both Meryl and Kat gems, they also know their stuff. Rather than treat the issue alone, they treat the SOURCE of the issue! Long term, this satisfies your wallet and allows you to return to your life fully, much faster.
Meryl & Michelle are THE BEST! I made an appointment after not being able to run a half mile without pain on the outside of my knee. As a marathoner, I was very upset and for 2 months lost the joy of running every day. But they fixed me up in no time. By week 4, I was running longer distances without pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
