From the reviews
Update as of August 25, 2025 I wanted to update my original review because my experience at Elements Massage in Somersworth has completely turned around for the better. When I first visited, I left feedback about noise from a nearby room that made it hard to fully relax.
The whole team at Elements Massage in Somersworth New Hampshire, was so professional, welcoming, and friendly. Having never been to an Elements Massage location before, I did not know what to expect. I had only been to massage therapist who worked out of their own home.
I had never gotten a professional massage before, and this was the BEST place for a new experience. All the staff are friendly, and Vinnie really made me feel at ease. The massage itself was amazing! My neck hasn't felt this good in years. I'm excited for my next appointment with Vinnie and the Elements Massage team!
Joseph did a great job! Applied pressure as needed and always checked to see if the pressure felt ok or was too much. The rooms are very clean and the music is relaxing. Highly recommend Joseph for anyone that is seeking a massage that prefers stronger pressure.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
