From the reviews

FAW is an excellent facility with many acupuncturists that excel in what they do. The entire staff is kind and caring and they have helped me immensely with a foot injury. I will continue treatment there for my overall health needs. They are the best I found in the area.

I have been going to this practice for over 20 years, and the experiences I have with them are excellent. The providers are outstanding, listen well and are true healers. The front office staff is superb and engaging, and quite professional and good at their jobs.

★★★★★ — Larry, Jan 2026

Family Acupuncture & Wellness is a constant in proactive health maintenance. I quite literally have unavoidably taken time away from the practice a few times. Each time returning to make up for time lost.

★★★★★ — Neal, Mar 2026

I've been a patient of this practice for some time. The benefits I've received from Adam & Betsy Learner's acupuncture treatments are nothing short of amazing. I'm treated for overall wellness and wherever I have pain or discomfort, or when I experience anxiety flair ups.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
