From the reviews
I have gone to see Tasha a number of times now for deep tissue and cupping massage. I can’t say enough about how amazing she truly is and how knowledgeable she is about the body and recovery.
Jackie is phenomenal, she checks in at every massage to see if I have any areas that I want her to address. I arrive a ball of tension and leave a Marshmallow!! The Reception is always a warm welcome and clean. I don’t know of any other therapist because Jackie is above and beyond the perfect fit for me.
I see Jon at the Andover location and it has been great! Overall, the check-in process is smooth and pleasant. Always welcoming. Jon has been great and I have been very pleased with the service and was excited when I heard he was back. Looking forward to many more massages.
This was my first visit to Elements (any location) and my first massage in about a decade. I made my appointment for a Sunday because I thought that it would be a quieter day, and I wasn't disappointed. Being able to wait for my appointment to begin in a peaceful waiting area was wonderful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
