I was extremely pleased to find this practice and be treated by Dr. Beccaria. Told by another physician I just had arthritis in my knees I explained I thought I had a torn meniscus and was still in pain after several months. Dr. Beccaria listened thoroughly, was patient & explained her treatment.
Dr Alise is hands down the best! If I walk in with an issue I leave feeling amazing! she is very through, makes sure to pin point each problem area and always goes the extra mile with an array of different equipment. I would ( and do ) recommend her to anyone in pain or needing some self care.
I’ve been going to see Dr. Alise Beccaria for a couple months now and I love how friendly they always are. She takes the time to listen to my needs, and adjusts her therapy as needed. They always make sure I’m comfortable. I suffered from severe foot pain for months and within one treatment, the pain was gone.
I was referred to Dr. Beccaria and I am so grateful. She listens to what issues you're having and treats accordingly. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
