I can say without hesitation that I had one of the best massages I've ever had here. It was so relaxing I fell asleep and forgot where I was multiple times, and I only got the 1 hour massage.
I’ve visited twice now. There is usually ample availability and I’ve had no trouble booking same day. The location is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The front desk is always friendly and efficient, offering hot tea while you wait. I’ve had a good massage both times!
East Holistic has been awesome each time I have had a service there. Iris was wonderful, I will definitely ask for her again. She gave me the best half foot reflexology/ half body massage, it was amazing. Highly recommend their services!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
