What clients say about the cupping here
“Joy was amazing, I’ve had many massages and this was by far the most relaxing and therapeutic.”
From the reviews
I’ve had many massages and by far Joy is the best in the Treasure Valley! Her place is so cozy and she makes you feel very comfortable. She really focuses on your whole body and even provides you with warm towels around your feet. Joy is absolutely amazing, you won’t be disappointed!!
Wonderful experience! The massage was terrific and Joy goes above and beyond with warm eucalyptus towels, free water bottle, etc. It’s peaceful and relaxing and her technique is on point and highly effective! Highly recommended!
Joy is absolutely incredible and gives one of the best massages I have ever received. It is very clear how experienced and passionate she is by the quality care she provides.
Joy is amazing! One of the best massages I've ever had and will definitely come back! She asked me about my problem areas and she did amazing. I loved her cozy space, the music and the warm towels! It was overall an awesome experience. Joy is a master in her craft!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
