From the reviews

Our son is a student at Huntington university. He has been seen twice by Dr. Dyer in the last few weeks, and I am absolutely in awe of the difference it has made!

★★★★★ — Grace, Nov 2023

Dr. Dyer is fantastic. He listens to your concerns and once you've been adjusted, will take time to suggest and even practice stretches that'll help keep tendons and muscles loosened. The office staff are caring and kind. The massage therapists are amazing as well.

This place has been great. Dr Dyer does his best to give you exercises to do on your own to help resolve issues. I have gone to other practices that just want to make sure you keep coming back in, he does what he can to get you in a spot where that isn’t necessary.

★★★★★ — David, Jul 2026

If you are looking for someone who will take the time to listen to your needs and help you manage your body- then Dyer Health & Wellness Center is for you! Dr. Derek will adjust you, but also give you ways to keep your body fully functioning on your own.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
