From the reviews

Dr. Hall is absolutely amazing! I am a massage therapist. Last August I developed trigger thumb which could destroy the future of my career if not dealt with and fixed. My chiropractor suggested I get a shot in my thumb....I wasn't a fan of that idea lol. I asked if he thought acupuncture could help me.

★★★★★ — Sharon, Mar 2021

I love Dr. Hall. I went in for acupuncture and to get help with some anxiety that I've been having lately. She has helped me so much in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend!

★★★★★ — Brianne, May 2020

I have been seeing Dr. Martha for a few years now and I cannot express my gratitude enough. From the moment I stepped into her office, I felt a genuine sense of care and compassion. She is a true healer who goes above and beyond for her patients. Her passion for her work is evident in every interaction.

★★★★★ — Kim, Jan 2024

I have been a patient of Dr Hall's for 2 years now. She is excellent in her care and knowledge of Chinese medicine. She researches continually. Her concern for your health is above and beyond anyone I have seen for alternative care.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
