Dr. James has been nothing but exceptional in his patient care from the very first session I used with him. I suffered from constant back pain for years due to an over active lifestyle.
I went to Dr. James acupuncture on 2/28 due to lower back pain. I’m on my feet at constantly at work and my back pain has been more painful than usual lately. I’ve tried several other massage therapists with no luck. I was recently visiting friends in Sacramento and found Ary while searching for therapists in the area.
I had an appointment with Ary last saturday 2/21 and she is the BEST! She made sure she took care of my shoulder, leg, and foot problem. She is very friendly, very kind, and non judgmental. I felt very good after my massage and had great satisfaction for the service she provided for me.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
