From the reviews
…I used her cupping therapy also. Dori is very skilled in using the cupping, & does it in a way that doesn't cause pain later. Great communication skills & very helpful with other related information. Dori is also very nurturing & caring with her massages. You won't be sorry if you choose to go to Dori for your care!
…I will definitely continue to schedule massage and cupping sessions with this caring professional.
…I particularly enjoy the use of the hot stones and cupping. She has a passion for helping people that you feel when you are with her.
Dori listened to all my needs annd preferences before my massage. The cupping of the abdomen appears to have released the tension I was holding there. I can’t wait to schedule my next appointment. Quiet & relaxing studio where I truly felt cared for.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
