A Hidden Gem on Magazine Street – Relaxation at Its Finest! This boutique massage spot on Magazine Street is an absolute treasure. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly vibes and top-notch hospitality. The staff is incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcome and completely at ease.
This is more than a great new massage place to have in New Orleans, this is a place of serenity and inspiration. And so it is no surprise that yes, my massage with Chrissie was one of the best I ever had. It was like she could read my body’s mind. 75 min of bliss.
This was my first time here, and it was a wonderful surprise! I reserved a short half-hour massage as a tryout, but oh my gosh! I left the place feeling like I had gotten a 90-minute full body... so much looser... a lot less tension.
I went in today and had the 25 min massage with Eric the owner . I took my two aunts who had never had massages before and they plan on becoming members later on. They were so happy ti experience this. He was so gentle and awesome. I became a monthly member and will tell my other flight attendant friends.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
