What clients say about the cupping here
“He released tension I didn’t even know I had and gave me great pointers for home care and what to get in future sessions.”
“The receptionist was kind, attentive, and incredibly professional—she was juggling multiple tasks, yet never once made me feel like my needs weren’t a priority.”
“He made me feel comfortable, listened carefully to my needs, and tailored the stretches to target exactly where I needed relief.”
“He checked in throughout the massage and made sure I was comfortable, which I especially noticed as this was my second experience with a male therapist being him both times.”
“The atmosphere and aesthetics of the spa are also beautiful—very calming, clean, and thoughtfully designed.”
“Margret and Lonzell were both amazing—very professional, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease.”
From the reviews
Amazing experience at The Now. It is so peaceful and calming, I love the simple chic decor. My therapist was Felicia for an 80 min deep tissue stretching massage and she made me feel like I could melt. It was so relaxing and while gentle, her pressure was deep enough to get the deepest knots out.
This place was centrally located and very easy to find. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the massage area was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I loved the wave sounds during my massage—it really added to the experience. Lonzell was amazing!
Was in town for a conference and wore the WRONG shoes to be on a hard concrete exhibit floor for 8hours 😩 I could not walk out of the convention center fast enough to get to my appt at The Now! Thank goodness for the recommendation of a local working in the booth with me. Let me be very clear about this….
I’ve had massages before, but Anas Hindi’s sessions at The NOW are truly different. During both massages, I felt that he was fully present and “in the now,” which was reflected in his breathing and attention throughout the session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
