From the reviews
Andrew Buckner with Dancing Crane provides top notch care. From massages, acupuncture, cupping, and all other manner of wellness, he is your man! Andrew continually strives to learn and grow and works hard to bring the best care to his patients.
Dancing Crane has been such a healing experience for me. I have been a client of Andrew’s for over a year, and his skilled acupuncture has really helped me feel better physically and mentally. I always leave feeling refreshed and less sore. He’s also a wonderful person who listens to me and genuinely cares about me.
Hands down the best massage experience I’ve had. Andrew's deep tissue expertise is next level, and he took the time to really focus on the areas impacted by my TMJ, which made a huge difference. The pressure was spot-on, intentional, and incredibly effective—not just relaxing, but truly therapeutic.
I’ve had two incredible sessions with Andrew Buckner, and the results have truly been life changing for my chronic pain. Andrew is not only highly knowledgeable in his work, but also incredibly kind and attentive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
