From the reviews

I've searched high and low for a massage therapist who is compassionate, competent and strong. I've been to quite a few. Cecile is the most talented massage therapist I've had the pleasure of seeing her twice so far. Both times she has been responsive. She can deliver deep pressure, or back off as needed.

★★★★★ — Lynne, Apr 2022

Cecile was extremely professional throughout my appointment. She was attentive and gentle, making sure that I felt comfortable during my massage, asking if the pressure was okay or if I would like to try something since I was sensitive in some areas.

★★★★★ — Paola, Jun 2021

My new go-to! Each time I fly into Burlington, I try and have massage sessions already scheduled. Travel just wrecks my old sports injuries. Recently, I wasn’t able to pre-schedule with my regulars. Before I left to fly home, I read some very encouraging reviews about Cecily. She was a miracle worker for me.

★★★★★ — Stonehill, Jun 2022

I am a massage therapist myself and have found it hard to find someone that could give me the quality care that I give to my own clients. Cecile exceeded my expectations! She is considerate of your wellness, presents a relaxing space, and is being very safe during this time.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
