Why Jade Mountain Wellness & Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “s could be helped if not erased with time and treatment. This has proven to be a most wonderful truth in my life. Brendan worked with me and my body to heal and relieve pain and trauma through acupuncture and occasional cupping therapy. He…” source →

From the reviews
My wife and I are ecstatic to recommend Brendan at Jade Mt Wellness. We have seen dramatic improvements with our young daughter thanks to Brendan. He patiently listened and was able to take random, disparate pieces of information about our daughter and piece them together to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment…
I feel really lucky to have so serendipitously found Brendan Kelly and Jade Mountain Wellness. Brendan is so much more than just an herbalist or an acupuncturist, some words that quickly come to mind (in addition to a great herbalist and acupuncturist) include friend, ally, life coach, therapist...
Experienced and knowledgeable doctors who continue to study and learn. My sons health condition has shown improvements already in the several weeks we have sought treatment for his autoimmune disease. Definitely my preferred method, gentle, with less risks for side affects.
Brendan is a gifted healer who has changed and supported my well-being. Having been treated by Brendan for over 10 years, I have run the gamut of his help with everything from cancer, Lyme disease, anxiety, depression, sinusitis, headaches, blurry vision, tight breathing, chronic lung disease, and so on.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
