From the reviews
I have severe osteoarthritis in my knee which is extremely painful. I've been limping badly for about two years and have difficulty going up and down stairs. I've been getting gel shots which have helped some but was facing a knee replacement at some point.
Dr. Eric is amazing! A few months ago I noticed that my right shoulder was not relaxing like my left shoulder (a noticeable difference in the mirror) and I was experiencing shooting pains on the right side of my chest and down my right arm a little bit.
Dr. Eric Andersen treated one of my children for a severe ankle injury that we thought would require crutches for weeks - She was walking the evening after treatment and running a couple days later. He also helped me with muscular issues causing hip pain and lack of mobility.
I made appointments for my husband and I to go see Dr. Eric. I was about 3 months post partum and post C-Section, and my husband was recovering from an excruciating and life-threatening bout with meningitis. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
