Worth the drive!! I drive to see Jori and staff from Gurnee - and I would do it every week if I had to! I’m a physical therapist and have been practicing health!care for the last 26 years- I’ve even taken cont ed classes on gut health… but u learned more in one hour w Jori than I did from a whole book.

I had my 3rd baby in 3 years. Yes I was back to back times 3! Obviously My body took a huge hit and once I had my last baby, that’s when my body was giving out on me, my uterus was killing me, I couldn’t lay down comfortably, Sit, use the bathroom or even walk without pain, and of course intercourse was off the table…

I started with CMR in March after a breast revision & encapsulation surgery from breast cancer 20 years ago & after the surgery I had a lot of anxiety and panic & sleep issues that brought me back to that difficult time! I needed to feel like myself & to feel healthy again!!

I recently got my first massage with Ashley and I truly could not be more impressed. It’s been over 4 years since I kept up with regular massage and to say my body was tight would be an understatement. As someone who works on their feet all day, I need deeper pressure than what many massage therapists provide.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
