From the reviews
…🎉 Boris is attentive, caring, and takes a holistic approach — combining acupuncture, cupping, herbs, massage, and more. I always felt heard and supported, and he even addressed other issues like headaches and cramps along the way. Thanks to his work, I’m back to practicing yoga and living without pain.
…She did her magic with acupuncture, cupping, massage, etc… I have been going to acupuncturists in Maryland for over 10 years and I must say I am so relieved that I found Anya. She is the best at what she does….
Anya at City of Oaks is wonderful! She helped with my shoulder pain and provided great pregnancy support at the end of my pregnancy. I feel immediate relief and relaxation after every session. She has such a calming presence and makes the entire experience incredibly soothing.
Anya is truly amazing at what she does. She makes me feel comfortable and understood, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my hormones since I started working with her. The office itself is very comfortable, and everyone there is so friendly!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
