From the reviews
Been going since mid-2017. Whenever I have out of town guests I like to bring them over for a relax visit. My pregnant wife attended and I have sent a few pregnant and non-pregnant women their for specific discomforts. I have convinced a few first-timers to try acupuncture because of this place. Love the feel.
I just had another great treatment from Susie, despite the fact that we are in the throes of this virus. Her place was sanitary, spacious, and really made a difference in my condition. I was trying to reschedule as soon as possible Susie. Be in touch. We could set up something privately…
Susie is incredible! I found City Garden Community Acupuncture right as I started grad school 3 years ago and have been returning regularly ever since. I attribute Susie’s skill to my strong immune health and lower levels of anxiety.
Been to several acupuncturists in Seattle and I always get the best results working with Susie. She knows how to heal and her needle work is fantastic. Amazingly, for being one of the best acupuncturists in the area, her services are amazingly affordable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
