From the reviews
Dr. Kennie used dry needling to target a knot on my back that had been there almost a year. One side of my back had been tighter throwing everything off. It dissolved less than 48hrs. after treatment. Dry needling has helped with chronic muscle tension in a way that adjustments, cupping, hydra volt and stem had not.
Excellent first visit to CWCH. Dr. Kennie was fantastic as was the whole staff. Her adjustments to my spine and neck brought instant relief. Also, the electro-therapy (Ampcoil?) and cupping done right after my adjustment brought even more relief and is prolonging that relief well after my visit. Highly recommend.
I've taken my dogs to Dr. Alex for many years. He's excellent with animals. My top agility dog performed until she was 15. I got her adjusted before our competitions. She loved him and would mooch treats whenever she could. Can't say enough good about Dr. Alex and Chiropractic Wellness Center of Hudson!!!
UPDATE: I have been a patient here for years. Doctors Alex and Jen are the best chiropractors in NE Ohio. They always give me insights on what to do at home if "my back goes out". They have fantastic insight on doing physical therapy at home, wake up drills, and tools to use to make my muscles and joints pain-free.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
