My experience at this facility was BEYOND AMAZING. This was the second massage I've ever had in my life. The first one I've ever gotten was at a well-known, large, chain company, and the massage from the company does not even BEGIN to compare to the massage I got at Chapel Hill Bodyworks.
I'm 6'3, 250lbs and Jen E. had me walking out of there like a wet noodle. She knows the anatomy and physiology of all the muscle groups and got in between them all and quite literally eased all my tension. I will for sure be following up to make another appointment with her.
I’ve been to the Johnsburg location that hasn’t disappointed! I wanted to try Fox Lake location since it was closer to my new home. It again did not disappoint! I received a cranial massage by Erin and she was so educational on top of helpful. I feel absolutely amazing. I am excited to update you on my fiancés massage.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
