From the reviews
Marlee Jackson 's Canopy Healing Center offers a truly positive tranquil experience. Located in a beautiful craftsman house on a quiet street, the center has a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
I started seeing Marlee a year and a half ago for acupuncture and cupping for chronic migraines. This was my first experience with acupuncture and Marlee made me feel safe and comfortable at each step despite some nerves on my part.
I highly recommend Canopy Healing Center. It's changed the way I deal with pain. Marlee is amazing at what she does, she's the type of person that likes to help people. I can walk into a session with extreme pain and leave feeling relaxed pain free and happy.
I had the most amazing cupping session with Marley. She is so professional and made me feel right at home. The cupping session was quick and left me feeling so fresh. Also the space at Canopy Healing center is beautiful. Worth a trip.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
