What clients say about the cupping here
“Jun is very skilled and I have been very happy with my treatments for the last 3 years.”
From the reviews
I’ve gone to several acupuncture clinics and Jun has always been who I refer people to. He doesn’t rush through your treatment and you’re getting your moneys worth! Also does amazing traditional cupping and uses a TENS unit and warming lamp with appointments. Has a small private/relaxing office!
Wonderful doctor and I highly recommend! I can’t believe I’m his first google review. I came to Dr. Jun Kang after finding no answers to my shooting knee pain I’ve had over the past 3 years.
I love this place! Jun is very skilled and I have been very happy with my treatments for the last 3 years. From chronic pain, Perimenpause, digestion he has helped me work through all of my ailments. Highly recommended!
Jun has helped my migraines, and occipital pain. He helped my husbands sciatica flare go away. And now I’m going back for thyroid help. He’s kind, knowledgeable, and professional.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
