Was having some shoulder/back pain from working at a computer all day/everyday for work. I came to BT Wellness and Grace was so easy to talk to. I had never had acupuncture before but she explained to me the benefits and procedure thoroughly and really put my mind at ease.
From the moment I walked in, I felt very relaxed. Grace was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I did a treatment and instantly felt better. She worked with me to increase my blood flow/circulation. She also helped with my neck and shoulder pains. The office space was also clean and comfortable.
Grace is an amazing healer who’s done wonders for my chronic pain and other health issues. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for holistic and effective pain management! I am so grateful to have found Grace and will continue to be a long time patient.
I'm battling a shoulder/neck injury and Grace has helped tremendously in just 2 sessions. The physical treatment is amazing but also the recommended follow up and adjustments in posture and diet have been very helpful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
