From the reviews

I taught children’s yoga classes at Brownstone Station (pre covid) and Adrienne’s yoga space is so inviting and calming! She is a joy to work with: welcoming, positive, and encouraging. I look forward to being vaccinated and once again offering classes in her beautiful yoga space!

It was my first time at Brownstone and Adrienne made me feel so comfortable. She reviewed my pain points and actually listened to what I had to say and focused on those areas during the massage. I scheduled deep tissue and that’s exactly what I got, perfect pressure.

★★★★★ — Sarah, Jun 2023

I have been a customer of Brownstone Station for over 5 years. I searched for a permanent massage therapist for quite some time. After my first visit, I knew I had found my massage “home.” Adrienne and Tasha both provide wonderful massages.

★★★★★ — Camille, Jul 2023

I would highly recommend Brownstone Wellness Center. I thoroughly enjoyed my 90min Zen Face & Body treatment. I loved the use of essential oils & that I didn't have to wait at all. My massage therapist was very punctual (which I LOVE!), kind and attentive. I look forward to trying their other services.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
