I had the most incredible experience with Ulisa Rodriguez at The Body Works Wellness Studios on Krystal Street in East Stroudsburg. My daughter and I spent two truly transformative hours in her care, and I can honestly say it was one of the most uplifting and soul-nourishing experiences we've ever had.
What a hidden GEM!!! If you do not frequent Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg, I HIGHLY encourage you to book a service here! I had an Ionic Foot reflexology service… I love having my feet massaged since as a hairstylist, I am on my feet all the time …but this was a really unique service as my feet were first placed…
Amazing Anniversary!!! Thank you Ulisa. There is so much to say, but I'll keep it short. I thought I'd surprise my wife with a sound bath experience. She absolutely loved it. The vibe of the salt cave was calm and tranquil. Ulisa's guided meditation and the singing bowls blended beautifully.
A friend and I had a fantastic experience this morning while enjoying sound healing in the Himalayan salt cave. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
