From the reviews
My experience at Bodyworks was excellent. My therapist was knowledgeable, friendly and listen to me, so he made my therapy fit me. I could hardly walk, lift a gallon of milk and I could not reach behind my back when I started and with their help 12 weeks later I'm a different person.
I went to Bodyworks for thearpy on my shoulder. After having shoulder pain for a long time the thearpy made the pain go away. Krystal was my therapist. She is a very good therapist and also a very pleasant person that I enjoyed talking to. My scheduled appointment was always on time.
Body Works is wonderful!! The Therapists are top notch in their field. I especially praise Crystal for her support and encouragement. I’m walking today because she did not give up on me. Cat, Kim and Carson were so kind and supportive also.
My time at Bodyworks was a very positive experience. Kim, my therapist took great time and care with me at all times. She is friendly and puts you at ease. Never pushes beyond what she knows is best. Thank you for being there.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
