From the reviews

I treated for 14 weeks and was thoroughly satisfied with each treatment. My issue has gone from excruciating constant pain and limited range of motion to almost full range of motion and some achiness occasionally. I was given a detailed home exercise routine to keep the issue from deteriorating again.

Dr. Beasley and staff did a remarkable process of relieving my neck pain. I was given assignments to complete at home to improve movements. In addition to focusing on my neck area, they also addressed my posture, accenting holding my head up. All of my instructors were knowledgeable and professional.

I am very happy with my results from here. I have seen several therapists but more with Ben lately & they all are very caring & excellent with what they do. I will continue going here after my surgery in July for my P/T to recover.

★★★★★ — Angela, Dec 2025

Ben at Athletic Physical Therapy was the PTA that worked with me after my knee replacement. He was very knowledgeable in explaining answers to my questions. He worked me through the physical therapy exercises and the machines with encouragement and support.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
