From the reviews

I have received many massages throughout the years and this is by far the best massage I have ever received. I love how Kristina incorporates oriental medicine to my site specific massage- gua sha and cupping.

Theresa Anderson is amazing! It wasn't just a massage, she worked on my problem areas and really helped release Soo much pain I'd been having. I recommend her to anyone!! Also, I never had a massage before and was beyond nervous and she made it such a calming experience.

The receptionist was phenomenal. She was professional, friendly and upbeat. Made me look forward to getting my massage. I had a 60 min. deep tissue massage by Crystal. And she was awesome. I left there feeling great! This is the 1st time I had a massage and I will definitely be going back. I was very impressed.

I want to thank my acupuncturist Jessica for helping to get me running pain free again! Last year I had a tear in my knee ligament and was worried I would have to give up running. Ran the Firecracker 5K this July with no pain. Plan on running a 1/2 Marathon this fall, and hopefully a marathon again next year.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
