I highly recommend Andrej. I had severe muscle pain and nerve discomfort for several weeks and was referred to Andrej. I had never been to acupuncture before, so didn’t now what to expect.
Andrej is the absolute BEST! Works hard to identify the areas and talks it out on what he wants to accomplish based off your needs! He is kind, caring and genuine man who wants the most for you at the end of the day!! My foot feels 10x better after seeing him.
Andrej is an incredible provider that has greatly improved my neck and back pain as well as treated my TMJ jaw pain that was unbearable to sleep with. His rates are excellent and he listens and tailors your treatment to exactly what is necessary at each visit. The clinic has parking and is easy to get to.
Blue tusk has such a healing and relaxing vibe. This place is a must! Andrej is very knowledgeable and his work does wonders! I've never had an issue with the needles nor treatment. He cares about your recovery and he knows what he is doing. 10 out 10 would recommend.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
