From the reviews
I am 25 years old and have been going to Bliss Body for over a year now. I could not say better things about Roxanne and my experience there. Roxanne is kind, attentive, personable, and offers many types of acupuncture and holistic approaches that have been able to support my mental health and pain.
I was looking for a new acupuncturist as Covid destroyed my first therapists business. I was referred 6 months ago by a family member. Wow is all I can say. It’s a different holistic approach to body wellness that I was not used to receiving. I went to Roxanne for a particular issue with my hip flexor.
Roxanne is such an amazing person. She makes you feel safe and comfortable. The office is clean, homey and gives off such positive vibes/energy. She has so many treatment options and really talks through everything to make sure you fully understand the treatments and the sensations your body might experience during…
I started coming to see Roxanne about 6 months ago, and it is something I look forward to immensely. She has helped me with finding balance physically and mentally! Something I desperately needed. I cannot recommend her expertise enough, and not to mention her space is clean, calming, and welcoming!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
