From the reviews
I’ve been working with Matt for about 7 months now and I have 100% seen improvements in the areas I had concerns with during our initial interview appointment. Matt is thorough, detailed and extremely knowledgeable in his craft.
My friend recommended Dr. Matt to me because he had helped her with her ankle issues. I was seeking relief from my chronic lower back pain which has drastically improved over the past year since coming here.
I came to Matt about a year ago with some mysterious pains and numbness throughout my body. Through some lifestyle changes and working with Matt, I’ve seen some major improvements.
Hello. I generally do not leave reviews however I wanted to since I have had such good results with Matts treatments. I went in for chronic pain due to a previous surgery and he performed myofascial release and facial counter strain as well as some acupuncture and I feel much better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
