From the reviews

The name "massage therapy" really understates the type of treatment you'll receive and the amount of knowledge and experience Donna brings to the table. This is far more in depth than any typical massage business I've been to. And while you can get some pampering, one comes here to get HEALED.

★★★★★ — Haywood, Mar 2020

Within 1 month of starting to see Donna, I reduced 2 medications I was put on for Long Covid. I didn’t even realize how bad I felt emotionally until I started feeling better. I wanted relief from pain in my shoulder, wrists, neck, hip and back which are significantly better now.

★★★★★ — Niki, Jan 2024

I love Bellaire Massage! I’ve seen Donna for multiple issues and, consistently, she has provided holistic, lasting solutions. Donna is truly a master of her craft; knowledgeable beyond belief, with compassion, professionalism and a sweet disposition to match.

★★★★★ — C, Jun 2020

Donna is the real deal. She looks beyond the surface, through testing and assessments to find the real issue, then treats it with skill and care. She’s a wealth of knowledge and uses all of her tools to help her clients. I've gone to her off and on over the years and have referred many people to her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
