From the reviews
Had never tried acupuncture before, but the treatment I received here has really help my overall wellness tremendously. If your body or mind feel anything less than great, I suggest you try acupuncture and cupping. It might be just what you need.
Michelle is the best! I have done acupuncture and cupping here for the last several years and have noticed major changes in how my back and jaw have been feeling!
Started here 2 weeks ago and my results are nothing short of a miracle for me. I’ve had a knee/hip issue since July 4 (day of my injury and pain) and have been working with an orthopedic doctor and physical therapist. I have had steroid injections and rounds of medications. Nothing worked.
Michelle is a fabulous acupuncturist. She is extremely knowledgeable and puts a lot of thought into personalizing treatment to achieve the best results for you. She has treated me for many different things over the months I’ve been seeing her and I continue to see great results.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
