I went for what I thought was my sciatica. He treated me for another type of inflammation. I was in severe pain for the three days prior. I chose Beijing Acupuncture based on google reviews since I didn’t know an acupuncturist. I walked out with no pain!
I have had chronic pain for 4 years which I thought was a result of shingles . After one visit Dr. Do determined the root of my problem was not shingles and i am on the road to complete pain free recovery. No other treatment was close to being successful. Miracles are worked here.
Dr. Du is very sincere, caring, and knowledgeable. And, he is a very accomplished Neurologist MD from China. Dr. Du is successfully treating me for stress symptoms 50 years in the making. He has treated me for other problems as they occurred.
I had bad foot pain from a botched surgery. Dr Du fixed it. I wish I’d found him before the surgery. I’ve been going to him for over a decade to “re-set” my body after too much exercise, too much sitting, or too much life. He and his wonderful wife have helped me and many of my friends and family.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
