As usual, never a bad massage here. I have been coming here for about 4 years now and love Bear River. They have the best monthly massage plan out there with lots of extras and discounts available. Come join soon!
What a pleasant, inviting experience! Check-in and confirmation of details, i.e. type of massage requested, are easily confirmed. There is adequate and confortable seating available for the few minutes between check-in and being escorted, by your masseuse, ti the private, cozy, comfortable massage room.
Had a fantastic Signature Therapeutic massage with Kelsey today. She hit all the spots and then some!! She even found some spots I didn’t know were tight. I definitely recommend trying out a massage from her.
Eve helped me so much with her amazing massage. She did wonders with lymphatic drainage and even treated me with spearmint aroma therapy. Looking forward to seeing her again. Great job as always Bear River.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
