I have been to many medical massage clinics over the years, and this is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. I suffer from chronic pain and have multiple joint replacements, so I’m very particular about who I trust with my care.
I recently went in for a medical massage because I was experiencing muscle fatigue and weakness in my legs. At check in the young woman at reception, Grace, was warm and welcoming to everyone. When it was time for me to go back, Sydney introduced herself and escorted me to the room.
I started going in December, and as someone who stays very active, I was dealing with a lot of tight and sore muscles. Their team has been incredibly attentive and has helped me maintain my busy schedule without missing a beat.
I absolutely love this place! They have two locations and both offer a great variety of massages and services. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming, and the massage therapists are truly top notch. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
