From the reviews
Fusion Rehab and Wellness is a top notch facility with some of the very best Physical Therapists and staff in Virginia! Not only are they highly trained and knowledgeable, but they are so caring, friendly and respectful. My PT, Dr.
The entire staff and other participants in PT are all incredibly welcoming and encouraging. It's obvious that everyone truly enjoys being there and supporting each other. It genuinely feels like a place built on teamwork. Kate was so much fun, supportive, and always took my concerns and feelings seriously.
I would like to recognize Rachel for the outstanding care and support she has provided during my rehabilitation for shoulder pain. From the beginning of my treatment, Rachel has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to my recovery.
I've been going to this Fusion location for a few months now for lower back/hip/joint issues. From the welcoming front desk team at check in to all of the people working in the back directly with the patients, I haven't had a single bad experience.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
