Why Baltimore Wellness Acupuncture LLC is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “. There are many local points on the back and often a practitioner will palpate your body to find the most sensitive spots and needle those. Other adjuncts to treatment might include: electric stimulation of points, and cupping. Generally,…” source →

From the reviews
Alina is amazing! She is knowledgable and thorough in her diagnosis and weekly (or bi-weekly) check-ins. She creates a professional, relaxing environment for her clients. Before meeting Alina, I suffered from aura migraines once a month for 5 days for the past 5 years.
I've been seeing different acupuncturists for the past 11 years since I've been diagnosed with a serious illness. The acupuncture was always very helpful, but only when I started seeing Alina around 2 years ago, I realized how truly powerful, effective and diverse this tool is.
My first visit to the Baltimore Wellness Acupuncture was about six years ago. I had an ACL reconstruction surgery on my right knee. The surgery went well, but swelling did not go away. I could not bend my knee without feeling pain. Anti-inflammatory pills didn't help.
I have been going to Acupuncture sessions with Alina Betsis for a couple of years now and will continue going in years to come. She addressed and helped me treat an ongoing issue that could not be solved with medications. Unlike medications, she does not just mask the problem, but rather finds it's root and treats it.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
