Shelby is absolutely amazing! She takes the time to listen to you and your personal needs or pains. She has introduced me to cupping and it has made me and my husband’s chronic pains a thing of the past. She also has started doing face cupping which is the most relaxing treatment!!!
I have been to 4 other massage therapists over the last three years and none of them compare to Shelby. I am in constant pain across my entire back and neck and after I see Shelby I can function again. My last session included cupping and it helped my pain in a surprising way.
I tried a facial cupping and sinus drainage treatment, and added on a 30 minute back, neck, and shoulder massage. She is excellent at her trade, and provides superior service! My sinuses are still draining two days later! Shelby focuses on the little details, like adding hot towels to her sessions.
Shelby is always so welcoming and excited to have you as her guest in her space when you arrive. She does an amazing job at working on you to ensure you have the appropriate comfort level and still feel relaxed! And cupping is amazing. Highly recommend!!!! What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
