From the reviews
Been coming here since October of last year. Lalou has significantly helped decrease the amount of monthly migraines, he has even taught me how to understand and pay attention to other signs and symptoms that come along with my migraines. I am happy to say that I am on a better path since coming to this practice.
This location is very convenient to get to. The environment is very nice, clean, professional, and serene. Kuan is such a kind and gentle person who practices with great professionalism and care. I suffer with chronic back pain and fatigue, and I am finally feeling gradual relief in my most painful areas.
It’s so nice to have Tai Chi Acupuncture and Wellness Center open in 3 locations, especially in Danvers! The atmosphere, the attention to detail, friendly staff and services have superseded my expectations. I recommend this place to those seeking tranquility and looking for professional licensed Acupuncturists.
I have been going to the tai chi wellness center for at least 2 years and love it. The staff is super friendly, it is very clean, and very serene and calming facility. I could stay all day! I see Lalou for acupuncture for my neck shoulders where I tend to build up stress. It has been a game changer and no more Advil.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
