From the reviews
When I first met Jimmy I had been diagnosed with partial tears in my hip tendons I was receiving ultrasound guided shots on three different occasions to no avail. I was in extreme pain. I was very active physically and to be unable to walk without a cane was discouraging. I met with Jimmy.
I had been dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome for a number of years. It was getting progressively worse and the pain was altering normal functioning. I didn’t want to have surgery and I knew there had to be a better way. My prayers were answered when I discovered Jim. The first session was amazing!
I had a kinetic exam with jimmy and it was one of the most insightful assessments I’ve had . He didn’t just point our imbalances or posture issues he explained exactly how my body moves , what’s compensating , and why certain patterns exist . The way he broke things down made everything click.
I came to North Shore Sports Therapy with leg pain that was so bad I couldn’t even walk my dog. After my first session with Jim I was able to walk with minimal pain, and after a few sessions I’m finally feeling like myself again!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
