From the reviews
I’ve been coming to Acupuncture to help with anxiety, back pain, and GI issues I’ve struggled with for years. I’ve only had a couple sessions and I can definitely feel the difference. My anxiety has gone down immensely. Bryn also does cupping on my back which has helped a lot. Bryn is awesome!
I had a wonderful experience with Bryn on Friday. It being my first time trying acupuncture, Bryn made me feel so comfortable and welcome in the space. She spent a great deal of time with me, trying to gain a full understanding of my issues, from body pain and fatigue to anxiety and allergies.
I worked with Steven and he was fantastic, he truly cares about the work he does and just wants to help people, he was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He could explain so many medicinal practices and concepts from a TCM standpoint and it was facinating to learn while I was being worked on.
I enjoy my sessions with Bryn. I have shoulder, neck and back pain and she does a fabulous job of listening. And a great job asking questions. Both the cupping and the acupuncture have been very helpful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
