From the reviews
Bruh! This clinic of people are now some of my favorite people in the world. They healed me in my month and a half of appointments. I had an issue with my ankle and elbow, both feel tons better after getting their help/care. I have continued to do my stretches even after not having anymore appointments.
JENNY IS AWESOME...no really she brings life and laughter to the space. I had therapy for about a month 2x/week. I was always greeted with a smile. I had already been to therapy at another company and I was satisfied but I didn't know what I was missing until I worked with the team at Athletico Physical Therapy.
I’m so grateful I found Athletico after my previous PT experience. From day one, the care here has been completely different in the best way. Rich did an incredibly thorough evaluation and took the time to understand my pain history and post-surgery needs.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Athletico Physical Therapy. From the moment I hobbled through the door with my cranky attitude , I was met with genuine warmth and support; Jenny and Rich even held the door for me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
