From the reviews

Great massage therapist. I see Michelle and she's the best therapist I've ever had. She's very knowledgeable about the body and uses some techniques that I haven't experienced elsewhere. The shop is also nice, Comfortable and a great decor.

Great experience! first time ever getting a massage, plus I'm dealing with a recent neck/back injury, so I was very tense and nervous. Melissa was outstanding, she listened to my concerns and tailored her approach to accommodate my nerves and also avoid my injury. She did a great job.

One of the best places I’ve been to. The receptionist was super nice on the phone, gave great directions and was the same when I went in. Very warm and bubbly. I also love their pricing instead on time instead of what you get because they assign you a therapist that’s right for you.

★★★★★ — Kay, Aug 2018

I have been getting massages for almost 20 years now off and on and this was the best massage experience I have ever had. My masseuse was awesome from the greeting at the door all the way through the whole massage experience, she was both warming and competent.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
