I first visited Anna a few months ago with some back pain, and my only mistake was not booking my next appointment immediately. Anna took great care to understand my issues then, and when I went back for another appointment months later, she remembered those issues in detail and followed up on each of them.
I had severe muscle stiffness due to an old surgery and Anna knew exactly what to do. She is very professional and knowledgeable in what she does. She focused on the spot bothering me and worked it so well. This was the best experience I've ever had, and I would recommend her to anyone needing her service.
Anna is AMAZING! I went a few months ago with a friend when I came into town for a weekend visit. She made me feel so comfortable. I would very much recommend her! When I travel back to Tallahassee she will be one of my first stops!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
